EmailFootprint provides a one-time search service that checks whether a user-supplied email address appears on publicly indexed web pages and in known data breach databases available at the time of the search.
The service uses two independent data sources: (a) publicly accessible and indexed web content, and (b) the HaveIBeenPwned breach database, an independent third-party service that aggregates publicly disclosed data breach records. EmailFootprint does not access private systems, bypass authentication, or perform any form of data enrichment beyond these two sources.
Search results indicate whether the searched email address appears on publicly indexed pages or in known breach records, and where applicable, details of those appearances.
Results are informational only. Web results reflect index availability at the time of the search. Breach results reflect the contents of the HaveIBeenPwned database at the time of the query, which may not include all breaches that have occurred.
Breach records may reflect historical events. The presence of a breach record does not necessarily mean a current security risk exists, particularly if the user has changed their credentials since the breach occurred.
EmailFootprint does not guarantee completeness of results from either source.
If the searched email address is not found in any indexed web source or breach database, the results page will indicate that no results were found.
A zero-result outcome:
Each submitted search constitutes a billable service action.
Fees are charged regardless of whether results are found. Searches that return "No results" are billable.
No refunds, credits, or chargebacks are provided for completed searches, including zero-result outcomes.

Breach data is sourced from HaveIBeenPwned, an independent third-party service. EmailFootprint does not control, verify, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of breach records provided by HaveIBeenPwned.
EmailFootprint is not liable for any inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information in third-party breach data, nor for any distress, harm, or decisions made on the basis of such data.
EmailFootprint provides the service "as is" and makes no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmailFootprint shall not be liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the European Union.
